As a fourth-generation rancher and proud Buhl High School graduate, and retired U.S. Marine with 21 years of service, I’m running to give back to the community that has given my family so much. As a lifelong member of Buhl, I’ve seen both our challenges and the tremendous opportunities before us. It has been the honor of my life to serve the people who make this place so special. With your trust, I will continue working to strengthen our economy, keep our communities safe, support quality education for the next generation, and uphold the values that define who we are.

Recruiting and Retaining Quality Teachers

Our teachers are the heart of our schools. Rural districts like Buhl face unique challenges in attracting and keeping excellent educators. I will work to ensure district leadership has the tools, resources, and support needed to recruit and retain highly qualified teachers and staff. When great educators feel valued and equipped to succeed, our students benefit most.

Fiscal Responsibility and Innovation

As state and federal funding models continue to evolve, our district must adapt while protecting taxpayers’ investment in our schools. I believe in a fiscally conservative approach—making every dollar count—while still finding innovative solutions that allow our students and teachers to thrive. Sound financial stewardship ensures that funds go where they matter most: into classrooms and student success.

Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community. I want to help the district provide every student with a quality education that prepares them for success as adults—whether that means college, trade school, or the workforce. Working together, we can create opportunity for every child while maintaining the values and work ethic that have long defined Buhl.
